Quebracho Wrap

This is a piece to be cherished. Each wrap undergoes a days-long dye process, all by hand, and with a lot of love and care. They are made with silk noil, which has a gorgeous drape and texture.

45" x 67"

Quebracho dye comes from the heartwood of the quebracho tree,  native to Argentina and Paraguay. The word quebracho means axe breaker and it comes from the Spanish word ‘quebrar’ (to break) and ‘hacha’ (axe).

Care: As you wash silk noil, you can expect a softer texture over time. Gentle machine wash or hand wash with cold water and mild detergent (we use synthrapol). Lay flat to dry in shade (sun exposure will fade color over time). Iron to soften texture.

Each dye bath varies slightly. We will make our best effort to match the pictures shown, though minimal variation does occur.
